May be given alternate job to those UPSC candidates who do not clear interview! in ENGLISH /hindi

The examination of the UPSC is considered to be one of the toughest exams. After working hard day and night, the students, the students first have to clear the pre and mains exam, whereas when it comes to interview, two-thirds of them fail. Keeping in mind such candidates, the UPSC is planning to introduce a new rule. Where the failed candidates in the interview will be given a second government job.
The Union Public Service Commission has recommended central ministries and agencies to recruit the candidates of Civil Services Examination which can not be successful in the interview. If this happens then it can open better job opportunities for the youth.
Arvind Saxena told that about 11 lakh candidates participate in the examination of the UPSC in a year. After the process of pre, mains and interview, 600 candidates are selected.
There are also a large number of candidates who reach the final phase of Viva Voice, but fail to get the rank. Government and other organizations can consider them during recruitment because they have already undergone difficult screening process and only have to face failure in the final phase. If this happens then it will help in reducing the stress of examinations among the youth. Together they will continue to have hope for jobs.
According to the report of ‘New Indian Express’ – UPSC president Arvind Saxena said, “We have proposed central government and ministries to recruit people who fail in the interview round in civil service and other examinations. This was said in the 23rd conference of the State Public Service Commission held in Odisha recently.”
The UPSC is also taking several measures to make the examination process transparent for the candidates. “The Commission is trying to bring a computer based examination (CBT) instead of paper and pencil-based examinations.”
Arvind Saxena said that several steps are being taken to make the UPSC examination process a candidate friendly.exam He said that candidates who apply for upcoming civil services examinations will be given the option of withdrawing their application form soon.
He said, when the candidate applying for the examination online, a registration number will be generated for the application. At which level the candidates will be given an option to withdraw their application form if they wish. Saxena said that it will be done entirely on a voluntary basis.
